Comic Creation

Ages 9+! In this 16-week class, students will dive into the world of comic art by learning how to create their own one-page comic from start to finish. Throughout the course, students will explore how to enhance their storytelling through different illustration styles, dialogue, character design, and posing. The class will place a strong emphasis on shape, line, and perspective to help students bring depth and clarity to their work. Over the semester, students will develop their comic step by step - from brainstorming and sketching to inking and final touches - building both artistic and storytelling skills along the way.
